Every once in awhile I purchase a lottery ticket. I was saying out loud to myself that I should check my ticket because maybe I won the lottery. Then, in my head, I heard “you ARE the lottery”. It wasn’t until several days later while driving that I received the clarity of that statement. We are the creators. We bring to ourselves everything that we receive. The idea that I will only get what I want if I win the lottery is actually an idea based in lack and playing the lottery perpetuates the notion of lack assuming I can’t create at any point in time exactly what I need. And the need to hole up a huge chunk of money all at once in case I need it assumes I am incapable of attracting exactly what I need exactly when I need it. I have personally tested these premises through being unemployed for 3 years having only an online retail business as my sole support. I would panic when bills would come in, but I received guidance that said not to pay until “I see the whites of their eyes” and on the 11th hour, the exact amount of dollars I needed would come in. This happened ad infinitum in many different last hour stressful situations. I would get on my knees in surrender and just brace myself. But the storm never came. My life was transformed by that experience, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The message “you ARE the lottery” was profound, and I had forgotten it in my complacency.
